The Samuel Johnson Birthplace Museum

The Birthplace of Dr Johnson, author of ‘A Dictionary of the English Language’, is a beautiful Grade I listed townhouse conveniently situated in the heart of the Cathedral City of Lichfield. Available to hire for small meetings and receptions.

The Birth Room is available to hire for small meetings such as away days, society gatherings, book clubs or as a unique venue for a small reception. The room is suitable for a maximum of 20 delegates depending on the required set up. A screen, flip chart, and data projector can be provided.

History and Literature interest groups may wish to combine the use of the room with a guided tour of the Museum and refreshments. Evening bookings are available. Please contact the Museum to discuss your requirements.

(Please note that the Birthplace is a Grade I listed building and has many unavoidable steps)
